Can I still recover compensation if I contributed to the accident?

    You may still be able to recover compensation from the other party if you played a role in causing your injuries. As long as you were not more than 50% at fault for the incident, you have a valid claim. Your award will be reduced in accordance with your percentage of fault, however.
